But that's okay because I'm leaving for California again a week from today:) haha. But this time, I won't be coming home!!! That's right, I was supposed to be moving August 12, but my roommate found a new apartment in a safer area so we will be moving in sooner!
The reason I wanted to write this post was to keep you updated on the audition process. I saw they're having an audition for female character look a likes 5' 3" to 5' 7" on August 24th in Yorba Linda at Momentum Dance Studio. This is the studio I went to when I had my last face character audition. I'm slightly under that height range, but since I'll be living there, I figure I might as well go for the heck of it. I also applied just yesterday for a food position at the resort. I haven't heard anything back yet, but since it's the weekend I probably won't hear anything for at least a couple more days. If not longer. Wouldn't it be wonderful if I did get the position and I got my foot in the door, only to then go through all the different jobs I want to experience at Disneyland? I heard from a cast member that after four months of working there you officially "earn your ears" and are able to apply and transfer to other departments and jobs. I would do anything to get in, I just want to work for this company! The key is to Just Keep Swimming. Keep applying, keep auditioning, keep calling, keep getting your face out there so they remember you! They will notice your persistence and dedication and soon enough it will pay off. There's a time for everything.
