I wanted to let everyone know about the upcoming auditions Disneyland Resort has! And I will link to the website so you can look at the other locations as well! I've often found that most of the videos and blogs I've followed are either the CP (College Program) or in Walt Disney World. Which really are wonderful and interesting but it's always going to vary, and I would like to know exactly what I'm getting into!

The careers page is where you can browse through other hiring jobs that aren't in the entertainment department. Here is where you would find jobs such as... engineers, retail associates, custodial, ticket vendors, food vendors, etc! Disney has something for everyone, you just have to keep checking.

 A character host is definitely on my list of jobs! These guys are the happy go lucky people that guard and protect the characters from the crazy parents trying to get a picture of their child with Goofy. I've spoken to a Cast Member who was friends with Chip and who also was a character host and she said, while the job is extremely hard on your body, she loves playing both roles. Fantasy Faire Actors Audition City: N. Hollywood, CA Location: Screenland Studios Looking For: Actors This is a comedic performing story telling role at the Fantasy Faire show. I believe they're looking for male actors but please check out the link for more information :) Disney Character Look-Alike - Males 5'2"-5'5" Audition City: Yorba Linda, CA Location: Momentum Dance Studio Looking For: Disney Character Look-alikes Male character look a likes, this could be any face character in the park within the height restrictions.
Depending on what happens within the next weekend I will be attending the Character Host, the Phineas and Ferb parade and the female character look a like audition. If you will be attending as well let me know!!
Remember one thing, whether it's your first audition or your 8th audition. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. And even though you might get rejected a couple times, the best cast members and characters I know auditioned multiple times. Don't give up.
